Fleet Air Arm Museum


This is a museum about old and new aeroplanes and helicopters,. From the earliest to the more up to date. You look around at your leisure and can even touch some of the aeroplanes. Children are able to go in a couple of planes to have a good look, play with the controls ( the controls are obviously inactive now )and have there photos taken by yourselves to look back on. You are able to go on a simulated army helicopter ride which is free. Also you can have a tour around a navy ship and experience the workings of a ship.

Located on the B3151,just off the A303 at RNAS Yeovilton. It is accessible from the M5 junction 25.
