The Georgian House

This is a Georgian town house built around 1790. It was built by a man called John Pinney who was a sugar merchant. He owned land and slaves in the Caribbean.
The house is furnished to illustrate life both up and down stairs so you can see the differences between the families way of life and that of the servants.
Sometimes actors are brought in to recreate the different ways of life, so keep an eye out for them.
